Sweet Dahlia Vintage

Graphic Design & Fashion Co-op Fall 2021

For my Co-op in Fall 2021, I worked at Sweet Dahlia Vintage, a business in Cincinnati, Ohio, selling vintage clothing online and in store. I worked alongside the business owner to redesign graphics for the store, website, social media, etc. Some of the projects I worked on included creating store signs, business cards, clothing tags, stickers, gift cards, and banners. I used the existing logo to develop a brand guide to keep the new and future designs cohesive.

In October, Sweet Dahlia Vintage was invited to the Cocktails & Couture Fashion Show in Cincinnati. I worked with several fashion students to select luxury vintage clothing and style 9 models with 3 different looks each for the show. I am minoring in fashion, and being able to participate in and experience a professional fashion show was an incredible learning opportunity. The photos below show some of the outfits we put together that walked down the runway.

During my time at Sweet Dahlia Vintage, I selected the clothing that would be sold online, styled models for photoshoots, ran the photoshoots, and occasionally took the photos. I was in charge of editing all of the photos, ensuring that the product really stood out on the website and social media platforms.
