re:sourced magazine

publication design - summer 2021

re:sourced is a cultural publication that explores environmentally friendly approaches to architecture design, and how they affect the world. The concept of this magazine is to explore the endless possibilities of sustainable architecture around the world. Different environmentally friendly architects are highlighted, along with recent rising trends on long lasting architecture, and critiques on some techniques.

For re:sourced magazine, I wanted the word mark and content to seem approachable, efficient, grounded, durable, and healthy; to be cohesive with the ideas behind it. I accomplished this by including elements that showcase these traits, such as soft edges, repeated graphic elements, an approachable color scheme, and low-contrasting typefaces.
